British Women Strike Gold with CurraNZ at the World 24-Hour Championships

    on October 23, 2025

Team GB’s women delivered an extraordinary performance at the 2025 World Athletics 24-Hour Championships in Albi, France last month, securing team gold and multiple individual milestones, with CurraNZ proudly used by several British athletes.

Kelsey Price produced a stunning race, finishing strongly in fourth place with a distance of 257.129k (159.772 miles), well over her previous personal best of 231.820k (144 miles).

This performance placed her second on the all-time British female rankings, lowering the record previously held by teammate, Masters athlete Jo Zakrzewski, for the 24-hour format. Reflecting on her preparation, Kelsey said:

"CurraNZ is an incredible product – I have it on subscription – I'm a big fan."

She used CurraNZ throughout her training block and the race itself for endurance and recovery support.

This British triumph was led by Sarah Webster, who shattered the women’s world 24-hour record with an astonishing 278.622 km, surpassing the previous record held by Japan’s Miho Nakata (270.363 km).

Also representing Great Britain were Dr Jo Zakrzewski, a long-time CurraNZ user and former 48-hour world record holder.

The result reaffirms CurraNZ’s growing reputation and popularity as a trusted performance and recovery aid, trusted by world-class endurance athletes chasing records and podium finishes.
