National Schools' star joins athlete team after seeing performance gains with CurraNZ

    on November 27, 2019

AN exciting young running talent looking to join the elite ranks in Britain has joined the CurraNZ athlete team.

Ruby Wyles, 18, is an Under-20 British distance track and road athlete who runs distances ranging from 3000m to ten miles at County and National level.

Ruby approached us after seeing a dramatic improvement to her running times after introducing CurraNZ, which convinced her that blackcurrant will be invaluable in her goal to become an elite runner for Britain.

Ranked in the top 2% in Britain for her age-group for 10km, that dream seems within reach for the teenager from Godalming in Surrey.

This year, Ruby took silver at the England Athletics Track & Field Championships (5000m) and also at the British Association of Colleges Cross-Country Championships.

After introducing CurraNZ, Ruby lowered her 5km time by an astonishing 16 seconds despite ‘tougher conditions’ – and her new PB of 17:43 put her in the top 4.4% for her age-group in the UK.

Her next 'A' race target is the World U20 Athletics Championships in July  (5000m), with dreams of competing at a world class elite level on the road, track and cross country.

Ruby says: “I only just started using CurraNZ last summer, but it has really significantly improved my performance. I am really thankful I for this great supplement – I can see the real value in it.

“I am gunning to take the another step up next year, and with the help of CurraNZ I’ll give it my all!"

A member of Guildford and Godalming Athletics Club, running is a big part of Ruby's life.

She says: “Running is something I’m very passionate about and want to make a career out of it.”
